Chance Transformations
Chance Transformations was an exhibit of twenty prints at Gallery 4 – 8 in November 2025. The gallery is in the Anderson Arts Building at 250 North Goodman Street in the Rochester Arts District.
Fourteen of these are photo-composites, two images fused together to deepen the meaning of moments that may have occurred randomly but with which I associate strong feelings and ideas, and that aid in examining the underlying feelings and artistries in each ‘photographic frame.’ Their selection reflects an early passion of mine for tearing paper into bits and strips and create two-dimensional collages, a few of which I still have. Six other images in the exhibit reflect a gallery truth: meaning lies in the curation and context is all.
